The Yaesu FT-450D expands on the success of the FT-450 adding new features (
). Enjoy world class performance in an easy to use, compact package. It employs blazing fast 400 MHz IF DSP technology to bring an array of advanced features to the operator. Transmit frequency coverage includes 160 to 6 meters. The receive range is 30 kHz to 54 MHz. Power output is 100 watts on HF and 6 meters. Operating modes include USB, LSB, CW, AM and FM. An antenna tuning system is built in!
The FT-450D comes with: MH-31A8J hand mic, mic clip and DC power cord. It requires 13.8 VDC at 22 Amps.

I have owned my FT-450AT for over 8 years and I have to say that I am still amazed as to what a great value it is. IF DSP in a radio of this price class is incredible. There are numerous features to eliminate QRM. Many choices are \"stepped\" rather than continuously adjustable (like the speech processor) but it doesn\'t deter from practical operation. Yaesu even provided the file for updating the 60M band. This has to be one of their best efforts yet...So much performance for so little money! 5fba

The FT450 has proved itself over and over again. It has travelled in my hand luggage on many flights. I have combined it with the LDG AT100 and works well together. I have been able to setup a station quickly and easily in various locations with some very basic antenna systems that fit the location. ThE DSP works well and able to isolate a signal very well. 5fba Great display with large charaters and easy to use. Changing the display colour is a bonus as I am partially colour blind. The 450D has the advantage of the more visable fonts on the keys which is a big plus. Highly recommended.

SUPER RADIO FOR AKTIVE GUTTER , , , OG JENTER Dette er den ultimate Hytteradio for meg FT450/D virker mye bedre enn prisen skulle tilsi Har brukt FT450AT på hytta i flere år jeg opplever at den kan alt bruker den til cw, diggi mod og ssb helt perfekt Har puttet den på en 2X20m dobelet med 1:4 balun utenfor hytteveggn, rg58 inn (kobler vertikalt for 160m)-- tuner alle bånd med innebygget tuner Jeg har kjørt USA på 80m med 50W (sparer på batteristrøm) Virket i mange år uten feilslag -er så fornøyd at jeg bytter min FT450at mot en ny FT450D SUPER RADIO FOR AKTIVE GUTTER , , , OG JENTER Den virker bedre enn mange dyrere radioen.
